Prior to meeting Augustus St Cloud, MK fell from a mysterious portal near the venture compound during the evening hours. Hearing the commotion outside, Doctor Venture, along with Brock, Hank and Dean, rushed out to meet the dazed, yet jaded woman that can barely stand up for a few seconds, before collapsing on the ground. Assuming she was on some sort of substance, because she didn't smell like alcohol, Doctor Venture instructed Brock to carry inside and place her on the couch so she can rest for the night.
MK opens her eyes, finding herself in an unfamiliar place. Curious, she starts to walk around, exploring the place, wondering if she should leave since this isn't her house. Upon entering the kitchen, she is greeted with 6 men that she doesn't recognize. Disturbed and confused, MK wanted to run for her life, but she instead asked about who they are, where she's at and what's going on here? Doctor Venture introduces himself, then he introduces Brock, Hank, Dean, Billy Quizboy and Pete White. He also explained to her that she fell from the sky and they found passed out and took her in. Brock also told her that these two (Billy and Pete) ran some tests on her while she was sleeping, including a blood sample. Let's just say it was off the charts.
Considering the events that happened, Hank and Dean asked if the sky gave them a big sister. Doctor Venture responds with a “no.”
Billy Quizboy shows MK the blood sample that he took earlier and the team is stunned by the fact that MK’s blood is hot pink and much warmer than usual. Growing concerned, Billy asked about why her blood is like that and this led to MK to introduce herself, briefly, without letting out too many details, but the one thing that she did reveal is that she's half alien.
While Dr. Venture didn't believe her at all, it peaked everybody else’s curiosity. MK requested that everyone come outside and transform into her true alien form, a very tall and slimy creature with psychic abilities. Their reactions were mixed, with Billy, Pete, and Brock becoming fascinated, whereas Dr. Venture maintained his disbelief.
As for Hank and Dean, well, let's just say that MK scared the piss out of them.
As soon as MK transforms back to her human form, a purple gemstone falls from the sky and lands in MK’s hand. Ooohh, shiny, says Pete.
She eats the gemstone like it's candy, freaking everyone out except for Dr. Venture, who is now convinced that she's an alien. The gemstone tasted like white chocolate and mixed berries, with a hard sugar coating.
MK’s amethyst crystal starts to glow, and she explains to everyone that she needs 50 more gems to eat before her body is restored to its usual self. Dr. Venture asked how she obtained more of those gems.
MK’s response? By going on adventures of course and gaining experiences.
Hank asked if he and Dean could eat the gemstones too.
MK shakes her head, saying that a regular human being can die if they eat the gemstones.
Both brothers are disappointed, so is Pete for some odd reason. Let's not talk about it.
Dr. Venture suggested that MK stay at the compound under their supervision while they explored her capabilities, imposing a restriction against her venturing outside alone. MK soon discovered her private sanctuary beneath the venture compound and invited everyone to visit only once. As time passed, MK successfully gathered 9 more gemstones and is becoming stronger than ever.
But although MK enjoys going on all sorts of adventures with Doctor Venture, Brock, Hank and Dean, she feels lonely, isolated and wants to be free to explore the world on her own.
